SARS tax filing season for the year ended 28 February 2021

Dear Taxpayer

We have been informed by SARS that the individual income tax filing season for this year will open on 1 July 2021.

SARS will be auto-assessing some of the returns.  Please contact a tax practitioner (like us 😊) if you are unsure whether to accept or reject this auto-assessment.  If you have any deductions (such as business travel against a travel allowance, business expenses as a commission earner or any other expenses that might be tax deductible), please make sure that you reject the auto-assessment and then submit the income tax return with the updated information.

As always, we are here for you.  Please contact us for assistance.

Filing Season for non-provisional taxpayers will end on 23 November 2021 and we therefore require your documentation, information and forms by no later than 9 November 2021 to ensure that we have sufficient time to submit in time.

You are welcome to send your documentation, information and forms to us at your earliest convenience.  We will then submit as soon as we are able to do so.

Let’s tick that one task off your To Do list!

Our fees are reflected on our GENERAL LETTER 2021 TAX SEASON FOR INDIVIDUALS. Please let us know if you are interested in receiving this? This letter also provides useful information on documentation required and forms to be completed.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
